All leathers used by Poppy Barley are a by-product of food production and a natural alternative to fossil fuel synthetics. Leather is also sourced from tanneries that are personally vetted or certified by the Leather Working Group (LWG). Poppy Barley screens all its factories for positive working conditions, including a living wage, full-time permanent employment with health care and pension benefits, fair working hours, paid vacation and sick leave, and ongoing training and opportunity.
