Cookie Notice

What cookies are
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. We also use similar technologies such as pixels, tags, local storage and software development kits (together, “cookies”). They help the site work, remember your choices, understand how the site is used, and — with your consent — measure our campaigns and attribute referrals to brands.
The categories of cookies we use
We group cookies into the same categories shown on our cookie banner. Whether a non-essential category loads before you make a choice depends on where you are — see the note below.
- Strictly necessary (always on): required for the site to function — for example security, remembering your cookie choice, and keeping you signed in to your account. These cannot be switched off.
- Analytics (including referral attribution): help us understand how visitors use the site so we can improve it, and measure click-throughs to brands (for example Awin and Skimlinks) so we can attribute referrals.
How this behaves depends on where you are. If you are in the EU or UK, non-essential cookies load only after you opt in. If you are in the United States, where privacy law works on an opt-out basis, some of these cookies (such as referral-attribution cookies) may be set unless you opt out — using the Global Privacy Control signal or our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control. Either way, you can change or withdraw your choices at any time.
If you create an account, you consent to our use of performance and analytics cookies as part of signing up, as described at sign-up and in our Privacy Policy. This applies regardless of where you are while using Verdrobe while signed in. You can withdraw it at any time by signing out and using the “Cookie settings” link in our footer or, where applicable, the Global Privacy Control signal or our “Do Not Sell or Share” control.
Cookies we use
The table below lists the cookies and similar technologies on the Website. The analytics and referral-attribution entries are set only once those services are enabled and, where required, you have consented; we will expand this list from our live cookie scan as we add tools.
| Name | Provider | Category | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| cookieyes-consent | CookieYes | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie-consent choices so we don’t re-ask on every visit | 1 year |
| sb--auth-token | Supabase | Strictly necessary | Set only if you sign in to an account; keeps you securely signed in so you don’t have to re-authenticate on every page | Session / until sign-out |
| ph__posthog | PostHog | Analytics | Stores anonymous identifiers (a device/“distinct” ID and session ID) to measure how the site is used so we can improve it (non-essential — consent in EU/UK, opt-out in US) | 12 months |
| awc | Awin (awin1.com) | Analytics (referral attribution) | Set when you click a brand link we deep-link directly through Awin; attributes the click-through and any resulting purchase, so we earn affiliate commission (non-essential — consent in EU/UK, opt-out in US) | Up to 30 days |
| t_gid | Skimlinks (skimresources.com) | Analytics (referral attribution) | Attributes an outbound click-through to a brand and any resulting purchase, so we earn affiliate commission (non-essential — consent in EU/UK, opt-out in US) | Up to 1 year |
Managing your choices
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in our footer, which reopens the preferences panel. You can also control cookies through your browser settings, though blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working.
We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal. If you are a California resident, you can also use our “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” control; where our analytics or attribution activity amounts to a “sale” or “share” under the CCPA/CPRA, we treat a GPC signal as a valid opt-out request.
Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice as our cookies or vendors change. The current version is always available on the Website with the “Last updated” date, and we will re-request consent where the law requires it (for example when we add a new cookie category or vendor).
